TERROR HOTTIES

By the time you read this, gentle reader, you’ll be able to indulge your desire for terror hotties by getting your hands on Godkiller: Walk Among Us episode 1 on DVD when it comes out October sixth.  Godkiller contains a pretty sweet load of terror hotties by putting both Danielle Harris and Tiffany Shepis in the same place, as well as bringing in Nicki Clyne, Katie Nisa and Lydia Lunch.

This return to adult comic book fare in the vein of Ralph Bakshi is actually a pretty exciting development and should be downright interesting, as long as it doesn’t get too outlandish, which is what Repo! The Genetic Opera’s big mistake was.  Look, challenging the audience is cool and all, but there’s a difference between attainable challenges and disturbing impossibilities.

It’s a challenge to get a couch potato to run the fifty yard dash in under ten seconds.  It’s an impossibility to expect that same spud to run so fast he turns the earth backward on its axis, reversing the flow of the space-time continuum.  There is a LIMIT, and this kind of movie has to be careful about breaking those limits.
