The Final Poster Released
Despite the fact that there will be plenty of terror hotties in the upcoming (as in next year sometime) release of The Final, I find myself less than encouraged by its existence.
In fact, I’m really not looking forward to this, which (according to its own advertising) promises to be a torture porn romp of the kind we all thought had been killed off after Captivity tanked like a barful of drunks on Free Tequila Friday.
Yes, there will be terror hotties aplenty, like Julin, Lindsay Seidel, and Whitney Hoy, but what they’ll be stuck in is a tale of revenge and horror as three picked-on high school kids get revenge on their tormentors at a costume party. Considering that there’s also some word that suicide will be involved it doesn’t exactly make the picture any rosier.
I personally have very low expectations for this movie, and wish that we could finally get back to GOOD horror, in which evil is confronted and beaten, not allowed to run amok doing as it pleases or copping out by destroying itself.
