Some Of The American Horror Story Cast Will Return

Man, was American Horror Story something else or what? Well, if you liked the terror hottie laden presentation like I did–and with Connie Britton, Jessica Lange, Lily Rabe and more around besides, it was hard not to–you’re in for some good news. Seems that at least some of last season’s cast will be returning.

Despite the thoroughly impressive ending to the previous season, it seems that either two or three cast members are being invited to come back, though they’d be playing totally different roles when they did return, so as to keep the continuity in one piece.

This, I like. Seeing old cast members in new roles will give the whole thing a rather otherworldly quality–you’ll know the guy or gal you’re looking at, but you won’t know them in that way. No, you’ll see them in a whole new light, the kind of light that should put an impressive new spin on an already impressive new series.

There’s no word as yet on when the second season will start up, so keep it right here for all the latest on this one!

Horrifying News About the Nightmare On Elm Street Remake

(Connie Britton)

Okay guys, strap in and brace yourselves, because terror hottie Connie Britton, who’s set up to play Nancy’s mom in the upcoming Nightmare On Elm Street remake has never actually seen the original.

I’m downright horrified.  How do you put someone in a role like that who’s never even SEEN the original?  How will they even know what they’re supposed to be doing?  And don’t tell me they’ll follow the script, either–we all know from painful experience that half these scripts are dreck.

But there’s a note of hope here…apparently no less than Robert Englund, the original Freddy, APPROVES of Connie Britton’s casting as he believes it’ll “elevate the classic role”.

…wow.  Who’s better placed to know the score than Robert Englund on that one?  If he’s got faith, well, I’m prepared to give a benefit of the doubt.
