Looper Looks To Hit Theaters in 2012

Admittedly, Looper really skated right on by me. But this sweet combination of action and science fiction is going to give us something else we all crave, namely, a terrific terror hottie presence. Specifically, we’ll be seeing Emily Blunt and Piper Perabo, among others, and that makes this one one to check out in 2012.

Looper takes us to an unusual world full of mob assassins who have an unusual method of disposing of their bodies. Not with fire or cement, but rather, time distortion. Yes, the mob assassins are burying their victims in the great river of time. And as such, that’s caused more than a few problems with that old sci-fi standby, the space-time continuum. In fact, things have gotten so bad that one of the mob assassins recognizes his next target…and it’s himself, in the future.

Freaked out yet? And with good reason, I assure you. The combination of prime terror hotties and some time-traveling murder is going to be one crazy ride, I’m more than sure of that. It’s set for a release that’s only described as in 2012 sometime, so keep it right here for all the latest and more specifics.

Good Chance You Won’t Find Carriers In Theatres

Bad news, folks–and especially bad news for fans of terror hottie Piper Perabo–the distribution strategy for Carriers appears to involve darts and a giant map of the United States.

You WILL be able to find Carriers in the following cities: Atlanta, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Detroit, Denver, Portland, Minneapolis, Charlotte, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, various places throughout Florida and “other random locations”.

You will NOT be able to find Carriers in the following cities, for reasons that baffle me: New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Chicago, Austin, Houston, and a whole slew of other major cities.

I can’t even begin to speculate on what’s running this.  The movie industry appears to have lost the capacity for coherent thought.  They’re…behaving utterly at random now.

God help us all.
