New Vamp For Terror Hottie Packed True Blood

True Blood may well be the only good vampire-related show on TV…okay, so it may well be just the ONLY vampire-related show on TV, but that’s largely beside the point. Anyway, the interesting news about Anna Paquin’s newest terror hottie venture is that they’re adding characters, featuring Ed Quinn as a Texan vampire who’s moved to Bon Temps.
Now, this adds an interesting twist to things—throwing a vampire of any power into Bon Temps is going to destabilize things incredibly—and having a mind-reading Anna Paquin involved only makes things better.
Am I alone in thinking that this might actually make one of the few good vampire movies? Ordinarily I’m not into vampire movies at all, so it’s a big step for me to suggest something like that. I’d bet Anna Paquin would take the Sookie role all the way, and she’s got theatrical chops from earlier stuff like Darkness. Well, we can always hope, huh?
