Zombieland’s Female Cast Returning

(Emma Stone)

Happy happy news for you all, folks–terror hottie Emma Stone and terror hottie to be Abigail Breslin (I’m sorry, but no one under the age of eighteen can be a terror hottie.  We’ll take most anyone as a terror hottie, regardless of looks or stature, but minors just don’t qualify.) will both at this stage of the game be returning to the Zombieland sequel, which will be in 3-D.

Now, naturally, at this stage of the game we have positively NOTHING in terms of plot synopses or full casting data or even release dates.  But we do know that most of the cast–and the female cast–along with director Ruben Fleischer will also be coming back.

There’s all sorts of possibilities–going to Columbus, for example, or possibly even Tallahassee to hunt up either of their namesakes’ families–involved with this sucker, so it’ll only be a matter of time until we figure out which one will actually come up.  I loved the first one, and I’m eagerly awaiting the second as the crew goes forth in the name of family, amusement parks and Twinkies.

(Emma Stone)

Starting this February is a new and interesting title that should get your attention–and if it doesn’t, man, you’re just not PAYING attention.

What would you say if I told you that Emma Stone, newfound terror hottie and alum of titles like The Rocker, The House Bunny and Superbad, joined Woody Harrelson in a movie about a world overrun by zombies?

But wait! It gets BETTER! One of the guys who wrote the script for the movie, dubbed Zombieland, is the same guy who wrote the script for Monsters Inc. And the director is none other than Ruben Fleisher…formerly of Borat fame.

With a combination like that, I can’t imagine this ending badly. Though we’ll have quite a wait since shooting is only just starting.
