Intruders Gets A Release Date

Happy news lands for those of you looking forward to the potent ghost story that is Intruders, featuring Carice Van Houten as the primary terror hottie on this run. And that happy news is no less than a full on release date.

Intruders follows a pair of kids who find themselves under attack by a mysterious entity that comes around every night. What this thing wants is somewhat unclear at first, but it becomes quite clear that it won’t be satisfied until it can haul away the kids in question. And what it wants with them will prove a purpose even more sinister than you might expect, especially when the kids’ parents start seeing the entity themselves.

Everything I’ve seen on this one so far suggests a positively freaky little endeavor that should be well worth watching. I’m certainly looking forward to finding out how it all comes down, and the best part is, we won’t have long to wait. This one will hit shelves March 30th, 2012.

Intruders Gets Italian One Sheet & Release Date

Release date. Easily two of my favorite words. It’s always great to know when a movie is finally coming out where we can get a good look at it, and Intruders will be heading out our way this April. But that’s not all, as a fresh poster has landed to boot.

Intruders, featuring Carice Van Houten in the terror hottie roster (and she’s only the start of the list, which is great news for us) follows Juan and Mia, who find themselves being visited nights by a faceless visitor who desperately wants to get his hands on them. The problem, of course, is that they’re in different countries. And when their parents start seeing the faceless visitor too, that’s when all hell starts breaking loose.

I’ve liked the looks of this one since I first caught the trailers, though admittedly, trailers only tell so much of the story. I’m still looking forward to seeing how this all turns out when it hits this April. I only hope that Intruders manages to keep up the earlier quality I’d seen in it, because I definitely want to get a look when this one hits.

Carice Van Houten’s Intruders Gets A Release Date

We’ve heard quite a bit of Intruders, and there’s some good news for those of you who have been looking forward to this one. It’s got a full on release date as well as some great terror hotties in here.

Carice Van Houten is just one of the terror hotties on this slate, and this one follows a couple children living in completely different countries who find themselves attacked by some kind of faceless monster that wants them for purposes entirely too dark to imagine.

The word is that this is a combination of The Last Exorcism and The Strangers, and that’s one particular Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup of a movie I desperately want a taste of. The trailer is duly impressive, and the best part of the whole thing is that it will be coming our way soon. Like this April soon. I know I’m going to want to get in on that one.

Dorothy Mills Is Gonna Get Pretty Weird

Sometime this year, we’re going to get to get our hands on a little thing called “Dorothy Mills”, and we should be fairly happy about this. With an array of terror hotties like Carice van Houten, Jenn Murray, and Ger Ryan, and run by writer / director Agnes Merlet, we get to hear all about Jane Morton. Jane Morton is a psychiatrist in mourning after the accidental death of her son. Morton is assigned to the case of the titular Dorothy Mills, a fifteen year old girl who—get this—tried to murder the baby she was babysitting.  Eventually, things will get so weird that Dorothy will be speaking to Jane with the voice of Jane’s dead son.

Yeah, that weird.

I’m definitely excited about this, and it certainly puts a spark in what I was starting to be afraid was a lackluster end of the year horror releasing season.
