A series of deaths have started occurring in New York; Some are being found mutilated while others have an equation wΔz = Cov (w,z) = ßwzVz carved onto their skin. As police investigate they discover each victim was forced to choose between sacrificing their own life or a loved ones’ life. Before long it becomes clear that this perpetrator has suffered just such a similar fate…so now is coping by seeking a way of solving this philosophical enigma, can Captain Maclean and his officers such as Eddie Argo and his new partner Helen Westcott stop this suspect, because he/she won’t not until he/she gets to the end of this equation.
The Killing Gene, ladies and gentlemen, featuring no less a personage than Selma Blair, is already out and doing some fair business in the video stores. And it’s a pretty interesting package—apparently, there’s a string of killings going on in New York, some victims mutilated and others with a bizarre and cryptic equation carved into their flesh. Investigations reveal that the victims were apparently forced to choose between their own death and the death of a loved one. The murderer apparently was also forced to choose, and is now trying to resolve this strange question in his life through the killings and the equation. Now two New York officers are out to short-circuit the process before it can reach its inevitable, gruesome conclusion.
Now, this of course sounds like a winner, and with Selma Blair along the ride is all the better for it. You can pick up your copy at various video stores, and it should prove to be solid and entertaining.
